Stardate: 09/03/09 A small group of military Terran friends, living at home, looking for work and trying to find where their next meal will come from, grab their gear and head out to the gateport in the system. As soon as they arrive a single Vagarin runs up to these three and asks for their help. Apparently the Vagarin has "lost" his ship and wants their help locating it. "I pay 30,000cr. You help find ship?," he asks. After trying very hard to gather more information from him, the group moves out to find this so called "lost" ship. With only knowing where the ship was last seen, they head to the nearest planet to that point and begin their search. The vagarin ship touches down and the group heads out looking for a ship, or information leading to it. The deserted landing strip has many building around it looking to have been left there to rot. The group moves to the nearest building and "the pilot" is shot in the chest from apparently nowhere. Thanking God for chest armor they move uninjured into the building and see shadows moving on the upper level. Moving to investigate, "the leader" moves up the stairs slowly and quietly but once he turns the corner, he is immediately shot at by a vagarin with a pistol; the vagarin misses and "the leader" fires in response, tearing apart the vagarin's chest. The second vagarin behind him surrenders and puts down his weapon. Wisely, the group uses their radio to bring in the lead vagarin off the ship, whom gets shot at on the way in, to talk to the vagarins for the group. The lead vagarin tells the group that these two live here and have been living here for awhile. When asked about a ship, they said that they didn't know anything about a ship but a group of Vilansh with big guns had been doing something at the other end of the airstrip and had only been there a couple of days. After much gunfire and a couple of wounds, "the leader", "the pilot", and "the doc" found the ship the vagarins were looking for and managed to make it back to gateport in one piece and 30,000cr richer. |
